Wow! I've been going through Zion Crossroads for a while and must say it has grown quite a bit. Several nice places to stay. There are not very many choices to dine out yet, other than your big box places fast food type joints. But all the places we went were nice. You are located close to Gordonsville which between the two places are great antiques and thrifts. Great for pickers and collectors or just site seeing. It is a beautiful part of the world. Not to mention just over the mountains is a whole world of the same.......... We come to Farmville, VA. and take Rt. 15 north. Beautiful ride.

Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful.

Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Beds were kinda hard. I did NOT like having to pay over $40 in taxes and fees for a one night stay. Price quoted was $129. and I paid $170.81 for the same night. Too many taxes and fees. For this ONLY reason, I will look for a different place to stay when I visit again

We were there for a near-by, private music festival.

We were there for a near-by, private music festival. We had breakfast at the Prospect Hill Plantation Inn where we stayed. Also ate at the Crescent Inn Cafe--great home cooking!! We're not young; I'm 73. We liked the isolation of being out in the countryside. The rolling hills and horse farms/estates of Virginia are beautiful. Just drive the back roads.
